Showself Entertainment Brings You to Feel The Charm Of Qin-Style Opera

On September 7th, a large series of live streams “Hello, New China-Chinese Opera, Pick Me” organized by Mobile Management Bureau, Showself Entertainment, and Guangming.com was held in Xian. It shows the special performance of Qin-style opera in Yisu Opera Club.

The opera society pay attention to reality and inheritance

Qin-style opera is one of the oldest arts in China. It has carried the soul of the ancestors for thousands of years. As time goes by, the glorious past of Qin-style opera has become less familiar to many people. However, it is still an important part in history. In 1912, Li Tongxuan and Sun Renyu established the Yisu Opera Society with the objective of “Changing society, inspiring the people by opera”. Since then, Qin-style opera was no longer only a pure art but played a vital role in social education. 

During the live stream, Chen Chaowu, Vice President of Yisu led the life stream. The museum presents the glorious history of Yisu opera; accumulating to one hundred years of history. It shows many important events throughout the course of history. Chen Chaowu took the time to show many different artifacts and documents stored in the museum. The audience were very excited to be able to see the items on their phone. 

Live stream shows classic dramas

In the backstage, the artists were preparing for the show. This year is the 100th anniversary of the classic Qin-style opera titled "three drops of blood". It will be performed to the public at the national opera center on October 13rd and 14th. Chen Chaowu said it is hopeful more audiences can be interested in the opera.

Actor, Zhu Haie sang a classic section of the "three drops of blood" in the live stream. The soft and moving singing style changed everyone's previous impression of Qin-style opera. Chen said that the combination of the traditional opera and online live stream enable more people to experience the opera. The live stream also allowed interaction, making it more interesting.
